Julia Middleton of Common Purpose using neuro-linguistic programming

Interesting vid by Brian Gerrish about Julia Middleton of Common Purpose using neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) techniques in an interview.

To see how powerful NLP can be, have a look at Derren Brown particularly this programme.

At the end of this video, a woman says words to the effect "I am a NLP practitioner and I do not know how he does it".

NLP is quite a favourite with Mandelson as well and I'd be surprised if they were the only two to use it. It's the crude attempt to programme the 'masses' through the use of language, body language, repetitive phrases and so on that some of us have noticed.

It isn't just NLP. They have a resident NLP bloke in at Kensington called Brett Taylor and still sent a member of staff on Common Purpose training (to the tune of £5,000) in June this year (he's been there an age, top stasi) - they use old war tricks, actually fairly illegal, it needs a public investigation and police inquiry, I've requested this sort of info from whatdotheyknow.com in a FOI request there, suggest you do similar for your councils

I believe Tiny Bliar also used NLP with his 'impassioned' speeches to get people on his side, which accounts for his stupendously high fees he was paid for a while after he left office as PM.

I know quite a few people who have gone through NLP and whom I don't like very much at all. Even in every day conversations they seem to be 'selling' me something!

One chap I met in Cornwall described NLP as - "an excuse to be a selfish bastard without remorse" or words to that effect.
