Outrage! Time to march on Parliament en masse

Friday, 11 September 2009

Parents could face a £5,000 fine for driving their children's friends to a sports event or Cub Scout meeting.

They face punishment and a criminal record if they have not been vetted first by a massive new government agency.

An astonishing 11.3million people - one adult in four - are likely to come under the watchful eye of the Independent Safeguarding Authority.

This development is not a great surprise: it was going to happen sooner or later.

Then, as you rightly point ou, there will be something else, and something beyond that, and we end up like the former USSR perhaps even or worse.

I am not a parent and rarely encounter children, but would support any Facebook group or cause that were to be created to oppose these proposals. We know that the only way to stop them, though, because of the power of the Executive (Gordon and Co) is to get rid of the Labour government.

Refuse to comply.

If one person refuses, then they will be crushed, like a single grain in the machinery.

If one thousand people refuse, the system will grind to a halt.

Tories will chuck it out anyway.

This is a colossal waste of taxpayers money - the Soham killer was vetted anyway (state incompetence) and children die on a weekly basis in the most horrific ways (backs broken, beaten to death) by parents subsidised by the state.

At least in the USSR there was a "resistance". I wonder why there is none here?

Curious that one.

I've met Bulgarians and Rumanians who think we're idiots for thinking we're "free".

People are pretty riled up in the Mail, but they need to do something about it - not just complain.

I've started a Facebook group and would urge everyone to join it and ask their friends to join it - and ask their friends to do the same.

The link works here - please let me know if it doesn't work for you?

Hi Fausty, why not change the name of the group to 'I Am Not A Paedophile!'. Will have a lot more impact.

And for John Ward, here's a thought for you. As a former Coumcillor it is more than likely that you would have come into regular contact with children whilst visiting homes, schools, etc so you can be pretty sure that sooner or later your colleagues still on the council will have to be vetted. No? Well the ISA are stating that this will apply to school governors, and as you well know the majority of councillors are actively encouraged to become school governors to keep a hand in their local communities, so it's a fait accompli. You may like to consider making your former colleagues aware of this.

Just face it, we are all criminals now in the 'eye' of the state and I am saying ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Will they?

I wish I was as confident...

Why do people not take action? Simply because the sheep flock is now so big that the voice of the shepherds is no longer heard.

For years now the powers that be have broken up the social structure of this country. The 'integration' of foreign nationals within neighborhoods serves to break up the neighborhood cohesiveness. This social destruction is furthered by the outlawing of smoking in the other cauldrons of social interaction - pubs and clubs (not the disco type). Finally, using the false spectre of terrorism we are encouraged to spy and grass on those around us. Couple this with the persistent mantra of the day that the individuals rights outweigh the collective rights of society - that selfishness is OK - and we are no longer a society, but more a collection of individuals.

Divide and conquer.

I fear it is now too late. The sheep are mesmerised by popfactoridol and the dazzle of celebrity. The media is driven by political pressure and report puerile stories with with increasing faux gravitas. And the upcoming generations are tricked into believing that the education they are receiving is getting better year-on-year, when in fact they are being dumbed-down to the point at which they will be mere automaton drones.

The people wont take action because they either lack the intelligence to understand or dont care that their inaction will eventually lead to the total destruction of their liberty and free will.

And the shepherds? Some grow tired or old and give up and joint the flock, some defect to the wolves to prey on the flock, and some simply leave the pasture and the flock to its own fate.

It seems the Tories have no plans whatsoever to chuck it out:

I agreed Julia. Iain says that Grayling was "considering" scrapping it in its entirety, but I don't believe it.

Their response to this has been lamentable - after all, they nodded the legislation through Parliament.

They now claim that Labour has gold-plated it, as is their wont. That sounds plausible because it has a ring of truth about it.

But the best lies often do.
