Free Speech Go To Hell

Yet another EU Directive:

[The Equal Treatment Directive] is common hate crime legislation, which will turn disapproval for Islamic practices or homosexual lifestyles into crimes. Europe’s Christian churches are trying to stop the plan of the European political establishment, but it is unclear whether they will be successful. The media are silent on the topic.

The directive applies to social protection and health care, social benefits, education and access to goods and services, including housing. American citizens and companies doing business in Europe are also required to adhere to it.  The directive’s definition of discriminatory harassment is so broad that every objection to Muslim or homosexual practices will be considered unlawful.

We Brits are such an offensive lot aren't we and the peace-loving minority must be protected from our 'propensity to violence & aggression'?  TM Jack Straw.  'We must be mad, truly mad.' TM Enoch Powell.

Is their really any point in all this?  I seem to remember a saying about a wise General knowing when to withdraw from the battle.

After Andrew Neathers admission on what we all thought was the truth anyway about "Labours multicultural experiment"... I have declared war!
I've had enough.

This came as a shock to me, too. In fact I'd heard next to nothing about this story until I read it on Old Holborn earlier, and now here.

Sue's point is well taken. If there is a line, this has to be it.

There's only one way this is going to go, in the longer term.

As it now seems to be illegal to say anything that might cause offence, I can only assume that the long-term plan is to ban communication itself.

I seem to be getting my blogs confused. I credited Old Holborn as having been the first blog I saw with this story but I realise I was mistaken.

Fair's fair...

Sue, I'm not religious, but "the truth shall set you free" seems fitting.

People refused to believe what we warned them about, branding us as "conspiracy theorists". Well, there was a conspiracy and now it's no longer a theory.

I hope more people begin to join the dots - sharpish - before it's too late!

This was inevitable as a continuation of the Cultural Marxism that tries to mould and restrict our thinking via language tampering and the law.

It will be far from the last such move; and if it should fail this time, be alert for its return in another guise in a year or two…

As for conspiracy theories, as per Fausty's comment: well, those who branded us thus might have had some justification if it hadn't been for the overwhelming evidence that has been around for some time that shows there really are onspiracies afoot, and in some case have been around for a long time!

The aim of the Project here is to actively promote Islam as a way of destroying our society and way of life.

It is the flip side of mass Muslim immigration
