Stop President Blair - Petition

Sunday 18 October 2009

38,000 people have signed a petition opposing Blair as EU president.

We, European citizens of all origins and of all political persuasions, wish to express our total opposition to the nomination of Tony Blair to the Presidency of the European Council.

Signed up back in Feb & put the link on my blog. People really seem to be getting into it this time - it's not yet 11:00am & already there's 2.5 pages of signatures dated today. Does anyone have any Muslim friends/colleagues to spread the word to? I imagine they must hate Blair even more than white Anglo Saxons for what he has done in Iraq & Afghanistan.

Ha ha, you guys are so funny.

Have you not realised, even after all this time, that the whole point of the EU is that it doesn't matter what you think?

This is a "post-democratic" empire we're living in now (or will be in a couple of weeks once Lisbon is a done deal).

Your votes and opinions were not sought, will be ignored if offered, and will never make any difference to the project.

Carry on with your silly petitions, nobody who matters cares.

Unfortunately "Weekend Yachtsman" is absolutely right. But then you have Mugabe Brown to thank for that. Had we had the Manifesto promised referendum the Lisbon CON-treaty would have died! Then there might have been a chance of getting change in the totally corrupt, financially, politically and legally, EU
