The Twisted PC Values of the British Civil Service

Sunday 12 July 2009

If you are a civil servant, and you express your personal view that Hazel Blears was an expense-scamming snout-trough disgrace, you can expect to be sacked.

If you are a civil servant, and you express your personal view that you would feel an obligation to kil British soldiers in Iraq, you can expect to get away with it.

Sums up this wretched, twisted PC country we live in, where the reputation of the snout-trough political classes is valued more highly than the reputation British Army. Mr Ali should be shown the door immediately as a seucrity risk...in fact, why not drop him off in Aldershot or Catterick on a Friday night wearing a sandwich board bearing these comments from his blog??

Note the Civil Service claim that they don't comment on individual cases....they did in the case of Miss Greenwood.

That was different!

Don't ask how. It just was...

The politicisation of the Civil Service has had a number off rather odd — and certainly inconsistent — knock-on effects. This has been one of them!

Good point, he might learn something. He would learn that he was perfectly safe. That the British Army, as a whole, are perfectly willing to defend those that disagree with them.

He would get a lot of stick, even humiliation and might even suffer 'physical humour', but he would not be harmed. I can't see Mr Ali's friends showing any restraint if those critical of them were alone in their company.

Remember the 11th Commandment " Thou shalt not embarrass a politician" the punishment is dire.
